# Create a Premium

> Creates a premium that can be sent to donors. code must be unique, price is what a donor pays, and fairMarketValue is the amount that reduces the tax-deductible portion of a gift. Set inventoryCount to the quantity on hand, then adjust it with the Increment and Decrement Premium Inventory endpoints.
