# Query Gifts (Abbreviated)

> Returns the gifts that match the conditions in the request body, each in abbreviated form; use the Query Gifts (Full) endpoint if you need full gift details. To see which options can be sent, use the Get Gift Query Options endpoint. You can sort by Id, Amount, GiftDate, ReceiptDate and Batch. If requests are timing out, you may be asking for too many items at once. The max take is 1,000.
